PREMIER GEAR Muon Trap aka Ghost Trap, TrapDimension of Origin: 68-F Model: Spengler/Stantz Mark 3Power ●●●○○ Handling ●●●●○ Heat Generation ●●●○○ Weight ●●●●○ Durability●●●○○ Efficiency ●●●●○Redesigned by Drs. Egon Spengler and Ray Stantz as an improvement to the MARK 1, the MARK 3 MUON TRAP or GHOST TRAP generates a muon particle field that compresses an entity’s psychokinetic energy and captures it. The TRAP can only take in a finite amount of spectral matter and render it inert. If the energy drawn in exceeds the maximum safe capacity of the TRAP, then the entity can fight containment and escape. While many versions of the TRAP exist, the MARK 3 can be easily identified by its red side rods, black knob, and side mounted ice cube relay. “Whoa, killer replica!” – Gary Grooberson #Ghostbusters #WhoYouGonnaCall #PremierGear #TechnologyTuesday … See MoreSee Less

CREATURE FEATUREVincent Van Ghul aka Vincent Van GhoulDimension of Origin: 68-FClass: IV Psychomagnathetic Possessor PainterPower Level: 4VINCENT VAN GHUL (no relation to Vincent Van Gogh) was an American artist who died in the mid 1800’s. He never achieved any level of success and all his pieces that eventually did gain prestige were attributed to other artists. He gave up on his artistic endeavors and moved west during the California gold rush, where he died. His resentment for these facts turned his spirit into an emotionally charged ectoplasm-based paint. A little-known secret in the Californian artist community, VAN GHUL’s paint was occasionally borrowed from his gravesite and returned after being used to create the borrower’s masterpiece. Each usage granted VAN GHOUL’s spirit some power, granting him control over artists that used his paint. When his paint was used in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, VAN GHUL would compel artists to create anti-Ghostbusters propaganda, which helped contribute to the public’s disbelief in the supernatural after the Manhattan Crossrip of 1984 and the Statue of Liberty debacle in 1989. His growing control caused artists to stop using VAN GHUL’s paint and it faded into rumor. Jacob Bartlett, resident CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS ectoplasmologist and artist, had heard rumors about a slime-based paint that could make artwork of a psychomagnathetic image from one’s mind eye with a single swipe of a brush. Jacob spent years searching for this elusive art supply and eventually tracked it down to a faded grave in the ghost town of Ludlow, California in 2019. Being exhausted and overworked and still needing to make graphics to promote the CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS on social media, he decided to try the paint out in June 2025 to quickly promote a charity event. The instant his brush hit the canvas, a psychic link was formed between the paint and Jacob, and unbeknownst to him at the time, the paint’s extranormal properties were due to the spirit of VINCENT VAN GHOUL. On Saturday, June 21st, the entity attacked Sean McFadden using Jacob’s body. Sean attempted to remove the spirit with positively charged mood slime to no effect. He called the Windy City Ghostbusters hoping to get advice from occult expert Bob Anderson, but only Shannon Obendorf was available due to Bob’s sudden disappearance and a nasty summer cold that was affecting the rest of the team. Shannon attempted to contact Deuce Gaspard from the Louisiana Ghostbusters, a practicing witch doctor, but Ed Cook stated he was missing. Obendorf made one last attempt to get the advice of visiting James Brija of Ghostbusters Peoria, who should have been able to help, but he was more preoccupied with “haunted brownies” that he baked than ridding Jacob of his possession. Windy City’s headquarters, at the behest of Winston Zeddemore, was being inspected by Joe Ricciardelli of the Atlanta Ghostbusters. McFadden, Cook, Obendorf, Ricciardelli, and Brija decided to meet up and take the Louisiana Ghostbusters’ riverboat south down the Mississippi river to search for Deuce to exorcise Jacob. The possessed Jacob was tied up with a rubber hose and eventually restricted to a proton field. During turbulence caused by a large tentacled monster, Jacob was flung against the proton field and the shock stunned the spirit long enough for Jacob to reveal its name to his compatriots. Shortly after, the riverboat coincidentally happened upon Bob Anderson and Deuce Gaspard, who were painting on a small rowboat. When Bob Anderson heard Jacob was possessed by VINCENT VAN GHOUL, he hypothesized that the spirit could be ejected from its host with the power of a simple eraser. The possessed Jacob was held down and Ed Cook furiously rubbed the eraser against his face until VINCENT VAN GHOUL’s spirit ejected itself from Jacob’s body, reverted back into haunted paint, and was returned to Jacob’s ectoplasm collection.#Ghostbusters #WhoYouGonnaCall #CreatureFeature … See MoreSee Less
