In a new interview with the Everblack Podcast, Ernie Hudson shared a hopeful update on a potential next Ghostbusters film.

“I think [we’ll get another Ghostbusters sequel]. I know they’re talking to writers…I’d be surprised if it wasn’t [happening]. The fan base is still growing.”If that proves to be the case, it could signal a shift in the franchise’s big-screen direction, with Ghost Corps potentially turning to new writers after Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, both written by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan.
